What you need

lb 85% lean ground beef

clove garlic clove
slice provolone

seasoning mix

red bell pepper

tsp mustard
tbsp mayonnaise

tsp sweet pickle relish

tbsp unsalted butter

sesame seed hamburger buns
tbsp ketchup

tbsp olive oil

splash water
green bell pepper
Instructions
1. Form the 80/20 ground beef into a ball. 2. Heat a cast iron pan to medium-high heat. Once hot, add olive oil and then smash down your beef patty. 3. Season the patty, then after a couple of minutes, flip it over. Top with provolone cheese and then steam until melted (e.g., by adding a small splash of water and covering briefly). 4. Cut red and green peppers and onions into thin slices. 5. Heat another pan on medium-medium high heat with olive oil. Toss in the sliced veggies and season them. Cook until softened a little (cover, stir, and add a little water to steam as needed) for about 15 minutes. 6. Toast a sesame bun in butter in a pan on medium heat until golden. 7. For the sauce, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, sweet relish, garlic, and your choice of seasonings. 8. Assemble the cheeseburger with the toasted bun, patty, melted cheese, sautéed veggies, and special sauce. Enjoy!View original recipe
